I've had time for the computer to relearn and it is better than before, but the power cut on shifts is still terrible. Lock up is fine for now.
How would people go about getting rid of the horrible pause on these shifts? It feels like someone who doesn't know how to drive stick is in charge of my shifts. Have there been any how to's posted...
Found a supercharged tune where they made some transmission changes. Seems to be the biggest change they made for tq management is maxing out the fields showing 96,674 on the left. Other changes seem...
I just took a look and am wondering the same thing on my 2015 Silverado 6.2 A8 drivetrain. I got my tire size updated since I have those upgraded, but dang... just about nothing is the same as my...
PIP5337G fixed my shudder. New converter, fluid, flush, and reprogram. Still seems to search a bit too much for shifts and lockup for my liking. I'd rather it just told a gear instead of downshifting...
Mine had no issue at all with lower gears, but would cycle the apply and release repeatedly every few seconds and shudder every time. Converter update/replace is service bulletin PIP5337G updated...
My truck is in for converter replacement right now. Sucks to be on the bleeding edge sometimes. 17K miles, just got it used, didn't notice the issue until I drove it some the night I brought it home....
I have a couple of spare PCM's for my 1974 GMC swap and wanted to keep one licensed as my "working" PCM and once licensed as my spare PCM. I had thought there was a way to make the spare show up as...
Is English your second language? I think we're having trouble understanding what you need help with.
Do you need help with how to start making changes in the tuner program itself? Or are you...
Stock injectors are known to max out duty cycle on near stock vehicles running E85. No doubt that's why you lost power.
Right, I would still be upgrading the injectors.
Thats a similar strategy that some did to gm cars too, before some started just changing the injector constant. Hummmm...
Nice!
So years ago, I ran my Silverado SS on E85 with basically nothing more than telling a lie to the computer... I told the computer that the injectors were 35% smaller than they actually were (42#...
Is there a way to do an injector "drop out test" like in EFI Live? A member of the silverado ss forums was telling me I could run a drop out test in diagnostics mode and find the offending cylinder...
I noticed that as well. Good catch.
I never changed the duty cycles for TCC, just the shift pressures and times. The only time I changed TCC was when I went to my current build with a Yank TT3000 stalled to 3200. Their lockup material...
I just wanted to say that changing the injector constant has worked for my '03 Silverado SS. I've been runnin straight E85 this week without issue! Well, almost. Can't go full throttle yet until the...
I want to tune a friend's truck and am just going to charge him for the credits he will need. The thing is, he wants to buy a used PCM and have me tune that one... What I want to do is: Read the...
Can I get file support for a Ibanez RGA Prestige and a 72 Strat with updated Lace Holy Grail pickups? I sent in my scan file... :secret:
I've installed it on Vista 32 and 64 bit, Home, Pro, and Ultimate and it works every time in compatability mode for XP and "run as administrator" checked. If anyone needs help, PM me and I can help...
So the controller puts the voltage signal from the O2 back to the PCM? I thought the O2 sensor had a 5V reference signal and the varying volts back to the PCM was altered depending on the changing...
Thanks for the opinions. Is there anything wrong with buying a Bosch LSU 4.2 and logging it through the EGR feed (my truck doesn't have EGR, but is wired for it)??? Do you have to have a controller?...
I've been searching and found several links to some DIY wideband O2's, but I want to see what everyone thinks is the best deal going on right now. We don't need to run a wideband controller at all...
