OK thanks.
What about the iat sensor when changing to this style maf?
I have a cammed ls3 (swapped to 24x reluctor) in my 04 cts-v that I'm installing a homemade 4" intake with the ls7 card style maf tomorrow. It's tuned for the stock maf right now. Is there a...
Thanks for the reply. Has anyone been successful in tuning the flat response sensors to work correctly? Just wondering what other people did for tuning them.
I swapped around the 2 pins at the pcm to the correct position today. I have the racetronix adapter harness to plug into the original wiring for the 2 signal wires. This harness has a ground at...
Yup Grande Prairie, AB. I will look into it more. I found the pinouts so good there. I assume I'd mirror the knock settings from a stock 6.2 file?
I am almost done swapping a ls3 into my 04 cts-v. I have the adapter harness to run the ls3 knock sensors instead drilling and tapping the block for the original ls6 knock sensors since they are a...
I have the MPVI Pro and have used it a lot, last time was about 3 months ago. Today my laptop with Windows 7 was dead so I tried to install on mt 8.1 laptop and it failed. Found my charger and...
I swapped a 6.0l in for a 5.3l and it runs fine, no codes or anything and I've already got it tuned but just thought of this tonight. Do I have to do a case learn?
I did copy everything over from a 01 6.0l tune but thought maybe GM has made some improvements on the newer stuff.
Anyone?
I have a 6.0l in a Jeep, origianlly a 5.3l that spun a rod bearing. I just put the 6.0 in and was wondering. I looked up a stock 06 GMC Savana van since it's not drive by wire and my pcm is from a...
In the Power Enrichment table eq ratio vs rpm put 1.28 in the whole thing. That will make it command 11.5 afr under wot. You still need to get a wideband and tune it though.
14.7/11.5 = 1.28

Get bigger injectors! Even on the stock pulley you shouldn't go past 6500rpm on stock injectors. Also get yourself a wideband. Then you can watch it and feel safer while you're learing to tune.

Here's some more of what he said.
I will check that out. He did have a back one a last month. It was funny because it worked perfect for about 15 minutes of driving, it would switch just fine and then it would flat line. The car...
Oh yeah, O2 codes that are disabled:
-P0137
-P0138
-P0140
-p0141
-P0157
-P0158
-P0160
-P0161
Here's what he wrote in an email:
I'm at work so I can't view the calibration right now, but where is this table located?
I'm going to go dial in the maf and ve again, eventhough the fuel trims are in check.
It seems to be more of a heat soak thing I would say. It's been a while since I've played with this car so...
Hey guys, just need a little advise. I tuned a cammed LS1 and it seems to be running lean at idle. It happened once the car is totally warmed up. I've seen the gauge in the 18s for AFR. Sometimes...
Doesn't look like you're logging knock retard. You have to set the config up to log "Total KR" because it's not setup for this car from the start.
Glad to hear! Thanks for the support!
Just wondering, what would the benifits of having control over the SCIP sensor be?
I can't wait to play with this once it stops snowing! Damn snow in April!!! Crazy!! Is is possible to get access to the SCIP sensor tables?
Well that explains a few issues I've been having. I'm gonna have to go redo my tune today and see what happens.
So how low is everyone setting this? Would there be any disadvantage to basicaly disable maf/ve blending?
Thanks Bill!
