I'm having the same problem. 03 Silverado
So I have the latest beta file, still having the same issues as before with logging the lm1 through my serial to USB cable. I get a clean constant signal in log works so I know my USB to serial cable...
ttt???? anyone have any idea?
i know that gm runs a check when the pcm boots up to see if lean cruise will enable. does anyone know if it checks the vin for a certain digit? if so can you do a vin change to something else that...
no that wont work. the 97/98 pcms were their own breed. externally they look the same but there are alot of differences between the two.
id hope you are using a boost referenced regulator? if not then you could switch to that type of setup and up the pressure under boost.
sounds like you have other problems in the tune if you arent getting proper commanded AFR.
the filtacgroff is the update rate. i wouldnt worry to much with the amount of air on the pcv system. its so little that it wont hardly be noticeable unless you have a huge vacuum leak somewhere(ie...
if it is after the MAF then it will be metered air, not measured air. metered air just means that there is a restriction in the line at some point in time(similar to the brake booster vacuum line)...
its already calc'ed into the programming as far as i know. even in stock form GM didnt have it running in before the MAF. i have mine running from the v/c -> catch can -> pcv -> throttle body vacuum...
yea you will be able to idle it where you want it once you get the raf table straightened out. i have found that its just easier to go from where it wants to idle(like the 1k) and then start working...
im assuming this is an m6 car because of the raf table being zeroed in the pn tables along with the rpm tables?
but it looks like its the commanded idle rpm table needs to be changed so that it...
RAF=Running Air Flow. its under the idle tab. it will reference the MAF at the frequency but im not sure if it actually uses that as the base or if it runs off the iac steps table as to what it...
go in and do a raf scan using russ k's config, and set your idle rpms in the file to 980 and work it back down using the same config for the raf table. im sure if you look at the idle trims they are...
im at work so i cant look at ur file, but the overspeed shouldnt be pulling the timing as long as its set to idle at the rpms you're commanding. maybe look and see if its pulling timing from the...
yes the leak would be causeing one side to show leaner than the other. if you're using a AFR error histogram to tune then yes you can disable all fuel trims. you can slowly add timing in to get it a...
is it possible to do a write entire then with a stock 98 file to get the computer to work or is it basically a locked computer?
sorry to dig up an old thread. i have a guy with one of these gmpp ecms, was there anything updated with these in the later HPT software? can i edit them or do i need to do a write entire and start...
i was wondering the same thing google. lol, work was rather boring this morning with nothing to read.
well? bump for the morning?
check the connector on the pass side where the ignition wires from the pcm plug in. should be a weatherpak connector but ive seen them leak and cause all kinds of havoc.
is it getting released today Keith?
searched around for the answer to this. havnt found one yet? any idea what it does? sorry to bring up an old post.
when u are running any kind of cam that much bigger than stock, u HAVE to get the fueling in line first before timing. you can rough in the timing to get it to somewhat idle, but u have to get...
if you put the tranny into overtemp mode it might throw a tranny code. other than that i dont see why you couldnt "trick" it into thinking its overheated.
