i would also work check for vac leaks and watch the fuel trims... i have a maf similar to what you guys are runing that is stock on the DOHC motor. i have heard drivablitiy and tuning issues as...
you can try and lean out your base PE AF ratio... then reset the trims... but when your in PE the trims lock and the car uses the last known trim as a default.. so watch your MAF data just before...
i never had luck with the PLX NB out put on my 300 series unit. i ended up just runign a stock NB and a nother bung for the WB

My guess is since teh car is cold.... the start up tables and fuel tables will make the car much richers... i dont have a file for your vehical, but my guess is you could ba as much as 3-4 AF points...
if your runing rich cause of the cam at low rpm... why not add timing advance! that will give the fuel more time to burn.
some times i have learned i can even out my AF by adding and removing...

AE is similar to the accelerator pump on a carb. when you step on the throtle, it squirts extra fuel into the motor. this counters the sudden lean condition of the extra air entering the engine...
from my reading on other forums and a friend who just installed a Northstar i modified for his car.... it is the PCV system that is causing the issues... im assuming like most N* installs the stock...
