2015 4x4 Toyota Tundra with the 5.7.
Long time user of HPT... you can probably still find my posts from way back when I was a beta tester and helped develop the software in its infancy
....
I no longer had any desire to work on...
and its NOT fully Functional....
Seriously...
Why teh hell do you release a feature and still have the "2 weeks" bull crap on it...
either do it complete, or dont release it at all...
I...
I actually just solved it today....
it appears that the wheel speed sensors do not output the correct signal...
I added a Driveshaft Collar and sensor and ran it straight to the VSS pins 71/72, and...
What setting in teh ECU need to be set so that I can use the Front wheel sensor for the Speedo
we have a car with a Transmission swap, and just want the speedo to work
there is no TCM and there...
Long story short...
since there is no real explanation of how the gauge stuff works, I had to just sit down and pluck thru it until I sorted it out myself
I noticed that in the scanner, the...
can anybody tell me what each value is actually doing???
meaning...
what do the primary and secondary volume sender % numbers mean...
I need to configure it all so that it works with one...
might be a good thing to put this in the comments in the Editor when you mouse over them....
So this was the Culprit...
stock values are 1.10 and 0.95
Raised them both up to 2.0
plenty of fuel now...
also, now it calculates the Manifold pressure correctly ...shows the 7-8 psi it...
ok... So raising the CylAir WOT Multiplier and Cylair Max Multiplier...has helped......
all I have to say..... is that FORD does some stupid shit in their Tunes......
seems that it was limiting...
how far should I raise them....
and I know it has enough fuel pump and plenty of injector left...
its in open loop...no fuel trims... already checked that.
new Tune and Log Up... still no change....
Tried all the things you just suggested
disabled the torque truncation...no change...
please actually look at the tune...
tell me what I am missing...
so I have a Ford Raptor on the Dyno...
and every thing is decent part throttle...
when we go WOT, about 3800 RPM (EVERY TIME) the fuel starts to lean out....and I cannot seem to richen it up...
trying to diagnose a problem....
ETC Pedal Position shows 155% when I put it to the floor
TPS(SAE) shows 100% when ETC is only at at 70, and pedal is about half way to the floor
trying to...
actually... they arent banned.....
its not a build whatever you want to make the most power challenge....
its a challenge to build the best based on a set of rules....
some years its Ford...
In USA Vehicles, Lean Cruise is Illegal
if you have a Holden Commodore(Austrailian GTO) it works as they do not have the same emissions laws
lean cruise works by commanding a leaner than stoic...
yes...procharger...
it might have had a diablo tune on it at one time...somebody else did the install.... we just did the tuning.
I'm fairly certain its a wiring issue somewhere, because the guy...
not sure what I missed...
but after a tune, this car drives great for about 50 miles, then throws the lightning bolt on the dash...pedal goes limp...thing goes into a safety/limp mode...
guy...
so help me find where its commanding it from...
cause I dont see it in the stuff I'm looking at...
and either way.....I've DOUBLED the VE values...and it makes ZERO difference...
Dyno pull AFR...
it is not a Commanded fuel issue...
it commands the correct amount
you will have to make a commanded to AFR PID...
Commanded AFR is Fine....
I just cant seem to make it add fuel no matter...
Commanded afr is fine.
Just cant get actual fuel to follow
I tried adding the vvt stuff in the eq-ve
It doesn't make any difference..
The log I posted was with the vvt enabled and with changes in the ve to vvt tables
sorry... I'm not blindly putting in a file...
what did you change... and why?
I already see injector stuff is changed...and it does not need to be changed... works fine with MAF...
