Okay so I tried to cut everything by 50%. VE, fuel flow rate, base running airflow, IAC park position airflow and the QC factor set to max. It does not stay running lmao. Starts fine like normal and...
Okay I cut the VE and fuel flow table by 50% already haven't tried it yet. Double the QC Factor? Not sure I know what that is lol
EDIT* Nevermind found the fuel QC factor. So double that as well...
Did a google search multiple ways, youtube search for videos, and multiple searchs using the forum search feature yet still can't find my answer so here we are.
Car is a 2004 GTO P59 3 BAR OS SD...
I've always made my idle base timing tables for park and drive match my main timing table. Everything seems to work fine like that
It will end up being 200 more because the enhancement costs 100 as well. He said he didn't care at this point lol.
He has already credited it on another hpt cable thats not mine. Purchased a...
There is a 07 truck tune in the repository that has the 2 bar available. Basically all i need to know is....will that flash into this e38 and make the 2 bar os available?
I was doing some reading on that. Haven't really looked into how the virtual ve stuff works and need this to be done and running right for my buddy soon here.
I know that if you convert to a 2 bar...
I have a 2007 Silverado to tune with a LSA blower and the factory OS does not have a 2 bar OS enhancement available. It is a e38 pcm, i found a factory tune file for a 2007 that has the 2 bar...
Would have been really cool if you added a self tune feature to RTT vehicles.
Basically it would be badass if your AFR ERR histo could constantly copy/paste/special the AFR ERR % your logging...
Can't look at the config on my phone obviously but maybe this link will help. Possibly you have seen it before but if not it should answer some questions or guide you some atleast....
I know if I force my gen3 into OLSD via the tune and not the scanner, when I hot start it it stays at 16.00 afr untik yoy drive for 5 min or so.
If you enter BE on a boosted setup or PE on a n/a...
Tried using this config without the maf since the car is sd tuned. The airflow histo created numbers from 9-12 or maybe even 13 and it wint even copy paste special into the airflow minimum table.
...
Good stuff thank you ^^
It's either in sd or it's not.
You will see maf performance codes if you are properly failing the maf. Then it's in sd.
No codes=maf still on.
Atleast that is how it works on my 04 ls1 car...
Okay so what needs to be done on a gen4?
That needs to be tuned if you make any big changes like a cam swap etc right?
I'd like to know about this as well since I'm tuning a gen4 now.
Here's the config I made to try out using afr error.
Was about to set this up but just realized no matter how far I zoom in I can't quite read what you put in for the function on the lambda error PID setup.
I went to the photo bucket link for the...
That is what I was thinking it did just like the gen 3 setups but wasn't positive. I already made both tables match...
I seen the TCS patch since a few weeks ago when I tried starting his base...
Okay I see what you did there.
Still unsure of the timing table deal and the harder shifting.
Thought that I read somewhere a long time ago that with the maf failed it kicks the line pressure...
Thanks for all the help guys, this should hopefully get me started.
If I want to get a PE of 12.50 what should I set the PE table to?
I'm going to prolly tune in lambda but still need to know...
Yes this is exactly what I was looking for. If you could get screen shots that would be awesome because I'm definitely a visual learner. If not some detailed instructions on what to do will work too....
Going to be tuning some more friday.....I would really like to be able to do it properly. Can anyone help me with this?
Not getting anywhere on this forum or tech.
Is what im asking for not...
Can't look at the log but I know that your not to use narrow band o2s for WOT tuning.
