IAT1 is used in Throttle Airflow calculations especially at Idle. You can't just move it to the manifold and zero out Charge Temp Bias table.

E38 doesn't have one.
If using E67 is not an option you have to patch OS for using MT TFT channel as IAT2 and enable IAT2 option switch in the calibration.
