Do we really need to rehash all the BS that's gone down in the other forums over the years? Seriously? And just what credible information are you providing here exactly? Or have provided in the past?...

No. Wait, Hell no..
Try changing fan type to Discrete.
IIRC, the ECM output to your fan relay is a switched ground. Other side of coil will go to 12v.
It would help if you told us what changes you've made to the file, how you rigged up the relay/fan, etc.. Can you post your file?
BTW, I run an '05 Envoy 5.3 in my Jeep w/electric fan, so it is...
this has to be a joke...
right?
I haven't looked at the manual SSR file yet. Is it basically just the ECM file with the TCM segments stripped out of it?
IIRC, the entire "OBD to ECM" CAN bus wiring path flows through the TCM...
I got a chuckle at the "just a tune issue" comment.. nonchallant tuner is nonchallant :D
Yeah, good luck with that..
Good luck. Three years later and I still haven't got this to work.
Sorry to hijack, but which of those are most preferred for an lm1?
For our H/C LS7 C5 conversion, we also used the 98 PCM and went with the Lingenfelter 100MM MAF. Had good results with it.
It's a 98 PCM.
I have to agree here.. At least with what's been posted so far.
Sorry to hijack, but does it include Accel injector data? I've only been able to find IFR data, and having some issues with tuning..
I see this often as well.
Heh... picture the mad scientist in a dark basement with computers, O-scopes, multimeters, gory looking caseless ecm's with wires hanging out of them as he's hunched over one cackling and muttering...
Looking forward to it, thanks Chris.
I've already changed the tables back to what Russ has posted above.
But basically what I did was grabbed the first 2005 GTO stock tune in the repository list and copy/pasted all three fan tables...
I just modified all fan tables to match GTO settings. Also changed the related DTC's to match. Oddly, stock GTO has those set to no mil light. Tried a few different combos of settings. Nothing seems...
Must be something else going on with this.. Even with using the GTO settings, it never turns off when it should.
Well, tried a couple things today. Made the corrected changes to the fan state table - no change. Fan comes on at appropriate temp, but never turns off.
Noticed that the A/C pressure disable bit...
Thanks Russ. That last attempt and post of my tune was apparently a typo now that I look at it again. Was trying all sorts of combinations and must have fat fingered that one. I did basically try...
Thanks man. I think I've tried that already, but I'll give it a shot. If all else fails, I'll just throw a DC Controller on it and call it a day.
Any DTC in the list that referred to AC. Think these are all of em:
P0532 AC pressure sensor circuit low
P0533 AC pressure sensor circuit high
P0645 AC clutch relay control circuit
P1598 AC...
I've done both of these and still have the same issue (not using 2bar OS yet). Fans come on at 196 as programmed but will not turn off at 192. Just doing some tests for now. If I can get this to...
