It's a work in progress, so it still needs some work. But the trans stuff should be good for the most part. 4l80e trans btw.
The car shifts to 2nd @ 55 MPH and at 6800 RPM
The speed is set to 45 in the tune and the RPM is set to 7200.
My understanding is that both the MPH and RPM must be met in order for it to...
What would cause the 1 to 2 shift to come in early? shift RPM is set a lot higher. 2 to 3 shift is dead on...
Saw a post to check the TPS voltage which I will do tomorrow, any other ideas?
I hear you. I am just tired of seeing everyone post that they weight 100#'s more. They don't. I have a 4l80e in my T/A and it's not that much more. Yes the converter weights more stock vs stock....
the 80 only weights about 15 to 20# more...

Thanks. VE is pretty close, but will get it tuned in better once all the snow melts.
I have a question on tuning the MAF. From what I have read I disable closed loop and set the steady state RPM thresh to 0.
From there I started the car and logged with the MAF - AFR error...
happend to me too....
but I sent it back and they sent me a brand new 6-wire no questions asked...
so did a little reading, have a feeling I have to set the gauge to use the yellow wire and program that output as a narrowband and not a wideband....
will try it when i get home.
So my 7wire is being repaired. Temp using a buddies 6 wire, which there seems to be a bunch of lacking info one.
Well here is my current config.
The wideband works prefect. .025 off set.
I...
good to hear about the fast turn around.
Just hooked up a buddies 6 wire in my car for right now, seems to work half ass.
RMA'ed to innovative.
well just tried to update the firmware. it did that to 100%, then it went to verifiy, got to 19% and git an error.
seems like the box doesn't even want to power on now. so i will assume it is...
going to try updating my firmware to see if that does anything..... Will keep you posted.
Having some trouble with my wideband.
It keeps reading a crazy #. I pull the sensor, turn on the power, wait 10 secs, then plug it in and let it calibrate. At this point it should be reading...
Well, messed with the wiring a little, think it might have slipped out a bit. No more SES light. thank God.
Doug, thanks for all your help. I'll be sure to send you a little something via paypal!
Did a 4l80e swap. I am using the sperco wiring harness setup.
Car still has almost no tune. EC_Tune did the seg swap. Pretty much only worried about the trans one at this time. Car has a REALLY...
I tihnk a .bin file will work? Pretty sure HPtuners reads .bin files
Guess I will try on here before I go and have a place update mine. My HP tuners does the entire 99 year, so different vins shouldn't be a prob.
any help would be great!
no one knows?
Does our computers(99 to 02) work with older 4L80e's? I read a post somewhere that the only way to get it to work is with a 97+ 4l80e? I have an older model without the 12 o'clock bolt hole(93 to 96)...
interesting...
according to that website...they are rated 45#'s @ 3 bar.....
