I wonder if it could also be something contacting the block. I'll have to do some investigation.
It just seems odd that KR shows up when the wheels spin, but not when they don't in the same cells.

Well, hard to say, but those changes may have helped slightly. I replicated again this morning as close as I could and still got some KR both with TC on and off, although not nearly as much, only...
Thanks for the response. I found the traction control PIDs and added them as well as made changes to how PE enables like you suggested, I'll test it out tomorrow.
I ask because I am seeing massive amounts of knock retard in areas that I've never seen it before and it coincides with a traction control event. Does traction control spark retard show up as knock...
I found a couple of tests I missed, I've disabled them and will see if that fixes the issue.
I have a similar problem to what is described in this thread, strange change in commanded afr during idle, where the commanded EQ changes during idle after warm up for ~6 seconds, but it only goes...
Maybe for something more than a 50% scale? But I've never heard of doing that.
Your line may be able to handle the flow, but take a look at how your pumps flow at that pressure.

Here are my notes.
* your Offset vs. Press. vs. IGNV table isn't right.
* your Short Pulse Adder table isn't right.
* half your AFR Term table and Fuel Density table as others have mentioned....
I can't seem to find the location of the VCM Suite download link in the new site. It doesn't seem to be in the account page any longer, where did it go?
This would be amazing.
What issues are you seeing with transient fueling if set to VE or MAF only? If running blended, yes, you'll need to tune both, but if one or the other I personally didn't experience any transient...

Pay particular attention to the bits about proportional and integral airflow. I had a very similar issue that...
Have you tried reading it in a car rather than on the bench?
Try bumping the proportional up to 100 rpm. You could also read through this and give it a try, https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.php?58157-Gen4-idle-tuning-guide
I can't open the files at work, but what are the idle proportional and integral enable RPM values? It could be getting into an underdamped condition when the RPM fluctuates outside the limits.
Well that is really odd then, wish I would have been logging when that happened. Hasn't happened again, yet...
Not sure what is up with that freeze frame, if you look at the log you can see the control module voltage is ~14.5 at idle. I don't really understand how these freeze frames work, but I was driving...
Took it on a shakedown run last night without any issues, and the drive to work this morning went fine. Not sure why the ECM decided to go bonkers like that.
Took off for work this morning and just about the time I turn onto the highway I get a backfire and DTC pop up. I turn around to head back home to get a different car and more backfires, poor...
I have not, I'll have to give that a go
Every once in a while with a hot re-start the engine seems to struggle to start, it doesn't happen every time, but when it does it acts like a lawnmower that starts slow, gradually building rpm until...
Using this spreadsheet and the info in here changed my trims from +/-3% to less than +/-1%, pretty crazy.
Thanks, I've updated the DOCs tab with some more notes as well as a few definitions
Would this be a fair statement?
- Below 1536 rpms, keep SOIT after EVC to reduce fuel smell at idle
- Above 4500 rpms, aim for EOIT-FRC right before IVC
Anything to aim for between 1500 and 4500...
