I notice I have Perf Option for switches under my tranny.
Is this using pins Blue 71/31 respectively for the switches?
Momentary ground to switch?

Could you post where these guidelines are? I should point out that EPA emission standards for “vehicle manufacturers” are stringent and we as owners must only pass a test, which is why even some...
I can understand the economic stance to encrypt your saved files. I ask though – could you please incorporate a BIN editor screen inside the HPT editor itself to allow those of us whom are...
Or just get your two choices as 99 and 02. Then you can re-flash YOUR 99 PCM to 02 spec and save some ducets on the cost of a spare PCM.
Rear O2s are only a watchdog for your cats and to tattle on you when you are storing your emissions compliant equipment in the trashcan. They make no fueling judgments.
Turn the Error Mode to - no Error Reported.
Setting the ‘SES to OFF’ will give an Incomplete on the Readiness Tests.
Setting ‘No Error Reported’ basically creates a Forced Pass for said...
It’s under the ‘Pro Tuner Functions’ – ‘Force VCM/BCM Relink’. It re-writes the data to FF to default said car to do the relearn itself. So this has to be done in the bin prior to...
Yes you can. I have done it many times. If internal and peripherals match, there won’t be an issue. Same year/spec-type is a no brainier. What you need to be careful about is non-matched years. For...
From my experience, ’98 PCM cannot be reflashed to a later year (98 is the only one I have had problems with), so you’ll need the 98 suite. Yes, you can control everything you stated plus more. ...
To re-flash to a different year, you need a TechII or equivalent. HPT doesn’t do this. You can only re-flash from the licensed year to the licensed year. So 'upgrading' an outdated licensed year...
Just turn the A4 tranny DTCs off. You can also grab a same year/type M6 bin, change the vin to match yours and re-flash the entire PCM. Either way.
You mean this. :D

but remember - hi rpm wields higher pressure. You get on that brink of just dropping; idle is the first to be effected.
This is my take on the LCM. Comparing bins of Holden and GM – the operating system portion of code is exact. Also LCM in reality is not ‘part’ of the operating system. Being an embedded coder...
Get a R134 refill kit from Autozone/Checker - Run about $30 – and check to make sure your compressor pressure is good. Sounds to me like you might be low on freon.
Bank 1 = cyl #1 side = DS
Bank 2 = cyl #2 side = PS
Got it working.
Was the coil pack ground. There was 9VDC on it. Don’t know if it was the PCM or the aftermarket harness, but logic probed the coil fire signals and they were goodwhen trying to...

You can try grinding the O2 bung down some to push the O2s further into the exhaust stream. Sometimes this works to solve it.
Stock internals. JH 3" LTs, cats and Y, GMMG Chambered Exhaust, 80mm TB, Lid, Bellow.
I tuned my A4 maffless and didn't even throw a code, didn't turn the codes off either. Maybe I'm paranoid, but it “seemed” like the only driving difference were the shifts were firmer. Maybe just...
