Alright. How would I go about tuning my car for 93 octane?
More timing would equal more power wouldn't it?
So if i set IAT to 32 degrees i would gain timing without having to edit tables?
Does anyone have a tune for a 3.8 to run on 93 octane fuel? or could someone set one up for me? My car is a 98 Camaro 3.8 auto.
yes my car is an automatic. and thanks for the suggestions. i would like to play with the timing, but i dont really know where to begin. i guess i just need to do some more reading and experimenting.
So far I have tuned my tranny, speedo, fans and such, but havn't done any engine tuning. My car has a cat back and ram air. What tuning can be done to the engine to gain a little power?
i have a 3.8l camaro with some bolt ons also. only things i have really changed is the shift times, speed limiter, fans, and torque managment.
they are installed, but when i try to connect it just says unable to connect to vcm. it works fine with my old laptop without the keyspan serial adapter, so i know thats the problem, i just dont know...
