Well, it was a long shot. Thank you for answering my post.
It's been a while since I have posted anything on the forum and I'm a little out of touch with HP Tuners since I sold my 2006 Corvette.
Just bought a red Hyundai Veloster-N about a month ago. What...
Sorry, I can't help you. This is a pretty old post. You would be better to start a new thread. As a rule never expect a tune you find in the repository to be 100% suitable for your car.
I for one would like to be able to turn off ESS (Electronic Start Stop). Since I already have HP Tuners it would be nice to know what the future plans are.
Thank you if the question gets answered.
WOE, we have help files. I have some reading to do. ...and at a glance they look great.
I figured it was something like that.
One thing that initially confused me was seeing duplicate parameters in the Parameter Selector list. Example, you might see Cylinder Air Mass listed under...
Excellent, did notice math parameters that are not selected in Channels still show.
I have an SCT programmer too and I believe it will hold a few custom tunes. If you create some custom tunes with HPT you might be able to upload them to the ECM then download them into the SCT and...
Open your charts, gauges or histo and look for any green 12's. There aren't any. I think this is still evolving. The only place you can use the green 12's are in Channels.
Well misery loves company. I hope we didn't stump the panel. I guess all the green 12's are broadcast parameters but none show up in any of the charts or gauges. I'm wondering if you select a...
I just went back to my Channels list to see how many polled parameters I could change out for broadcast parameters. There were a few so I changed them. I went to my charts vs Time, gauges but didn't...
OK, thanks. Didn't realize that.
Check your polling interval. It looks like Engine rpm (SAE) is very slow to update in comparison. I checked some of my logs with Engine rpm (SAE) and it updates far faster than yours. Make sure yours...
Thanks
I would like somebody to verify this for me.
Boot the 2.25 Scanner
Then select "Layout" drop down menu
Then press the left or right arrow on your keyboard.
I noticed the right arrow...
It was requested that I post these math routines.

There is a fudge factor of 1.15. You will see it in the formula. I used it to match previous dyno results. Anybody...
Oh stupid me. Here you go.

Sure, be my guest. You can load a background picture if you want. I'm thinking a black background with a small Corvette emblem in the center.
Not too long. It's how to keep a bored retired person's mind busy! After I figured out the aspect ratio for my screen it went fast enough. Then I tinkered around with colors for a while. Fun stuff...
Check this out without borders.

All minor problems for sure. I sure do enjoy the new software. I'm putting the programmers in for a pay raise!
I had to hunt around for the interval settings. I noticed most of them already set to something reasonable but a few weren't so I slowed them down. This is great. Nice to be able to log everything...
For the heck of it I loaded up the channels. A whopping 92 of them. I ran the car for about 3-1/2 minutes in the garage before asphyxiating myself. I can't see any problems with the data.
Here is...
Yes it's an E38. I made one run with 66-Channels and data was perfect. Since I added 84-Channels I'm not positive but very optimistic.
Common since says there has to be a limit. I have 84 channels open so far and haven't noticed anything bad yet. It may become more apparent when I actually drive the car.
