    MAF wrong = PE wrong???

OK more questions. If PE relies on the MAF and your MAF table is off due to a different maf, air lid, etc, would that not make your PE measured AF different from your commanded AF? Someone please...

    Re: MAF table Dial-in question!!!

OK, I am an idiot (partly anyway). I changed out my air lid right before I started logging in SD. Well, to make a long story short, I just discovered I forgot to plug the IAT back in! I plugged it in...

    Re: MAF table Dial-in question!!!

Mods include Air lid, Granatelli MAF, slightly ported TB, Borla cat-back exhaust, LT's, no cats, 226/226 114LSA cam.

With the MAF unplugged, I get near perfect fuel trims. I haven't been able to...

    MAF table Dial-in question!!!

OK, unplugged maf, got my VE table damn near perfect. Between 0 and -2 across the board, throttle response is awesome, car feels strong. Although I'm still not sure about going WOT while in...

    Re: Granatelli mass airflow sensor

I have a GMAF and my fuel trims were always between 0 and -2 at cruising before the cam. Never touched the VE or MAF tables. After cam the trims are way negative, but nothing a little VE moddin'...

    Re: Max Torque vs. RPM

I set my Max Torque to 600.

As for Max Torque vs. RPM, it appears to apply to A4 cars.

Max Torque vs. RPM: Maximum allowed engine torque vs. RPM, whilst TCC locked.

So if you have an A4,...

    Re: Granatelli mass airflow sensor

I've got a granatelli and havent done any tweaking on my maf table. I did just a bit on my VE table but my fuel trims are near perfect. Maybe I just got lucky though. It would be interesting to find...

    Please explain spark dwell

I did a search but didnt come up with much on this. I was just curious as to what spark dwell was. I'm assuming it's measured in milliseconds. Is tils a table we shouldn't be changing? What affects...

Re: WHAT IS DYNAMIC CYLINDER FILLING?

Just today I got my Pe vs RPM table set to where O2's average .910, which is near perfect for my car. Still no change in timing. I thought that would help too but it didn't. I'm not sure what to...

    Re: How much knock?

Any knock is bad knock IMO. :) If you can fairly easily eliminate it and you dont think its false, I'd go for it.

    Re: Lean Cruise Mode

What the heck is lean cruise? Usually, lean is a bad word when tuning. :) If stoich, which is supposedly getting the best gas mileage why would you want to change that?

Re: WHAT IS DYNAMIC CYLINDER FILLING?

Thanks a lot. I guess it's time to increase the timing table instead of decreasing cylinder filling to use the current table. :) I have LTs, no cats, GMAF and lid and I wasn't able to log much after...

Re: Timing table rule of thumb?

My timing is all over the place, and LOW also. :) It's because of the air the MAF is reporting. With mine, the air flow seems to drop off in spots, therefore causing it to access a different portion...

    Re: at 1.20g/cyl at 4400 I have -2* timing

How do you know you're running rich? Did you average your FTC 22 O2 sensor readings? If so, what did they average out to be? What are your part-throttle LTFTs?

    Re: LTFT?

Just to elaborate on what he said above...if you have your stock MAF, you adjust your injector flow rate table like was stated. If you do have an aftermarket MAF, people say to adjust the MAF table....

What exactly is dynamic cylinder filling? And how would I go about bringing this number DOWN? My timing is garbage and I dont want to scale the timing table unless I have to. My fuel trims are...

    FAN ON/OFF???

Could you guys maybe add a FAN ON/OFF button right below that neat little fuel trim reset button? That would be great for the track while sitting in line, especially if you don't have that 6" wire...
