I tried 26, 28, and 30 WOT timing at the drag strip yesterday. Best time and mph were at 28. Stock A4 '02 Vette.

I guess the Vette's are different. Her's has four 24 degree cells around 4400 rpm. I ran it today at the drag strip after backing off the knock sensor thresholds and finally got it back to around 28...
Soundengineer--what engine is that max graph for? It doesn't have the dip in the timing around 4400 rpm that my wife's '02 has.

On many cars, the table axes are not the same, so you can't just copy one table to the other. The table values between the high octane and max are not the same, so just compare them before changing...
keep going. If it doesn't work, try it again. You can't hurt anything.

Pasting the max theoretical table into the high octane table is pretty much a standard procedure on the Fords, so I don't know why it wouldn't be worth trying on the GM cars. I am still pulling...
