MrKrad,
Im at work so i don't have access to the actual decay values but i scaled these by .95 from 0-10mph in park/neutral because i was having problems when shifting to neutral and slowing down...
GRRR....I just went for another drive and i got caught between 2 and 3rd with the 3500 rev limiter. I guess my idea has a flaw!
Well I just tried it out and guess what......It works! The limiter is only enabled when your completely stationary so i guess it uses the vss signal. I tried it rolling and it didn't limit the rpms....
You can add a credit card as method of payment to your paypal account. Very easy, On purpose!
I found this posted on ls1tech.com. Why doesn't gm US have something like this out there! Lots of good PCM info.......

Ha ha, I was just...
I was thinking today if i could use the p/n limiter table as a smart man's 2 step.
For example:
-Set the P/N limiter to 3500rpms with VCMEdit
-Stage at the line, place stick in 1st with clutch...
Ok, I went back to playing around and decided (I think everybody else told me this) that the VE table and throttle follower would solve my problems....So I scaled the VE table an additional .95 from...
Yes adjusting the idle screw will give similar results as drilling the tb.
I don't know about the IAC question as my car is a manual.
VCM scanner shows IAC count. Thats how i got those numbers!
I think under load the IAC is like 180 or so!
I really don't wann drill the tb but it sounds like this is my solution. I'll wait...
In Neutral (manual) I have no problems what so ever. The idle is rock steady. The only problem is when the rpm's are up to like 3k and I stop short. This is where the dip occurs. I dunno if...
No matter what I did it did not really effect my problem. I once again reverted back to my earlier tune. I did try changing the decay values to zero which lets the idle hang at like 1000-900 for...
well .70 didn't do too much....im gonna try scaling 0-10mph more. I still have a rpm drop when on the brakes that goes down 100-200 rpm then comes back up to like 950 then settles back at 800rpm....
I just edited the tables correctly...before i was increasing the decay values to 1, speeding up the closing!
As a reminder** I posted this up in bugs a few days ago but upon saving the tables for...
I guess i'll try changing both the Decay in neutral and the decay in gear again. Im pretty sure I changed the decay values to 1 before? I don't remember what the values look like as I don't have the...
Yup, I tried changing the decay settings and it didn't help much. The delay setting might do something.....but my problem is not a constant surge but more of a one time drop and raise to normal rpms.
no the knock sensors are still enabled if you copy your high octane table to the low octane table. The adaptave timing will not occurr though. Your sensors will still pull timing if a knock is heard...
Well last night I tried a bunch of different techniques but could really do anything about this issue. I finally reverted the tune back to where I started at the beginning of the night. I tried...
I dunno if there gonna let you have a .dll for what you want but if you know what your doing you could pull this info from VCMScanner as your scanning easily enough!
Yeah, i added 2 degrees for the high octane table low rpms following the idle tuning guidlines. I may try and pull that back out and see how the car likes that.
My IAC count is around 65-80 when...
Well, I have a question. I thought the VE tables were primarily used for cold start/ open loop mode? I have these problems once the car is in closed loop/warmed up mostly.
If i do edit these I...
I have some really low rpm in gear idle problems im trying to eliminate and think I need to play with this table. Im trying to eliminate the surge that occurs when coming to a fast stop or when...
Yes, it's the green service set. I dunno if you've found the section im talking about or not? I think on the second page of what im talking about there's a diagram of how each cylinder notifies the...
Nice, Dynotune.org just released a wideband for $430. This would go very nicely with my VCMSuite.
I changed the Max rpm of the knock learn max rpm to 6600 to match my increased rpm limiter of 6600. It was previously 6400 (knock learn max rpm) in stock configuration (6200 limiter).
Yeah, I dunno if it's helms but it's the full service Manual for GM 2002 F-body. It's actually 3 Manuals. The Information regarding Misfire's is located in the Engine Manual under Engine controls. It...
