Absolutely. It's a possibility your converters are restricted. Relatively simple to check by testing exhaust backpressure (pre-cat).

17 degrees on a non-intercooled is more than too high. Probably why you're seeing a lot of KR. Missfires don't cause transmission slippage, but removing the TQM on the trans side is slow transmission...

Yes...same grief here. Sometimes the byte is flipped on or off...I end up having to recompare in hex to make sure what was 'supposed' to happen, does.

We offered to fix the problem a year ago, and never knew there was one till (you called) we found the errors in the HPTuner software. Thanks for the comments--appreciate it.

We're at the bench programming (offboard) stage--next is to get some vehicles on the dyno. Hope to have the basics nailed through next month.

I don't believe you can reflash through the J3 port--why not just come in through the 'front door' ? That's how Ford has been doing it for years. The bin files aren't scrambled, although their format...
