fuel pump resistor? does it stay running if you floor it
Figured it out, it was the dual speed fuel pump resistor that was burned out. It would start under full power then the fuel would cut off when it tried to switch to lower power.

This is a log of were I'm at right now, I tried the ve tuning but it looks like the knock is back. Its definitely still shifting fine there is so much knock. any suggestions? same config as before.
