I think you need to black it out and paint an 8 on it. Although the younger users might not get the reference.
Without the tune and log it will be a wild a$$ guess. To many possibilities outside of the tune that will make it randomly "break up" to do any good throwing out guesses.
Search on here for 01d030b shows those as crappy injectors without correct data.
And what is the part number on the injector.
Tuning Lesson 1: In GM tuning, injector data is all important and is far more than just flow rate.
Does the car restart when you take your foot off of the brake pedal?
The 6 credits will be for if you want to tune an unlimited number of 2001 Silverado's, not just your single vehicle. Just the one vehicle is 2 credits.
Opps, I was thinking backward.
Because when you hit a rev limiter it will see it as a misfire?
So, who is tuning this? Multiple tuners working at once isn't going to work.
If it was tuned with incorrect injector data and then the injector data was corrected, then it has to be retuned...
What is changing the OS going to prove about a possible bad ECM anyway?
You need to check the wiring diagram for whatever donor the ECM came from to confirm how the wiring should be. Pin outs for the ECM only tell so much.
GM used the phrase “low reference” for a...
I know, but it's been 3 months. And I hate the phrase "it won't start" without clarification of crank or no crank. But he does say the logs are cranking, which I missed.
And depending on how you...
Need to post the tune also.
Have you checked the basic of why it won't start? I assume you mean it will crank but doesn't start. Are you getting spark? Fuel? Too much Fuel?
Is this not just a simple linear mx+b calculation?
Lambda=.24v+.55
Add whatever log file you have. It helps confirm map sensor setup type things.
This is why people shouldn’t make multiple threads. To much information is left out. You didn’t say anything about modifications.
But that said, you are also just trying to get it running good at...
GM parts if they can be made to work.
And don’t buy from Amazon or eBay unless a very experienced tuner has bought from that exact seller before.
It’s probably that controlling large injectors at low flow is difficult.
Just stay with the same thread. Otherwise you will expect us to remember all of the details of your build and changes.
Have you logged into your HPT account?

Look up “diagnostic fuel pressure gauge”.
Fully to the floor when starting cuts off fuel so not sure why you went “almost”.
