I could be wrong but I don't think the issue is in the MAF Table. Someone else can chime in but I think during cranking the Flow across the MAF wouldn't be steady enough to calculate proper fuel....
What do the IAT temps look like when this happens? Getting heat soak maybe?

Did you already rule out burst knock? 70% of the time that's where I get false knock indications.
Multiplier is a percentage, i.e. 1 is 100% .500 is half etc.

Was the load also swinging with the rpm and timing? If you could get this to work right it sure would make forced induction easier with the stock maf.
Did it lose too much resolution at lower flow rates to function properly?

Has it been "locked" with hptuners? If so, only the tuner / cable that locked it can unlock it. Even the dealer can't unlock it. You would have to replace the computer with another one if you don't...
