Just trying to set up user defined parameters in the scanner right now. The function string for AFR error% will be
100*([USER.9006]-[SENS.121])/[SENS.121] correct?
The [USER.9006] is AEM wieband.

All right just to make sure I have this straight..
To hook up the aem wide band to the mpvi,
the white wire goes to slot 1
blue wire not used
red to switched 12v
black to ground
and slot 5...
I'm only going by fuel trims for idle and cruising, but WOT I was going to do with a wideband, but I'm nowhere near that point. I hope I wasn't misleading enough to make you think I was trying to...
Ahh I see what you mean, we didnt find any vacume leaks so we'll check the o2's next. Is the one running low mV the one not acting right? I guess we'll start with bank 2. Thanks for the help!
I'll try LTFT's to see if it works better but it still doesn't make any sense why it's acting the way it is. Whether using short terms or long terms, I should still be able to make small adjustments...
We just put an attitude cam, 1.750 long tube headers and a 3200 stall in my friends 2008 TBSS and I am having some trouble tuning.
I am tuning by maf only with STFT's, SD is disabled along with DFCO...
Anyone on whether that's the right table to modify? Also I think I meant closed loop in my other posts.
Thanks for the reply, luckily turning off the rear o2's fixed that and the CEL doesnt come on anymore. I still have the problem with the engine running rough when its cold. Right after it goes OL the...
I was just getting lucky for a little bit. It did it again, I found out its because of the LT headers. They put the o2 sensors further downstream and they dont heat properly.
Well I got it working right and it runs awesome. I went back to a previous tune and only made the change for the cats-disabled rear o2's. Anyways, I stll dont have a clue what I did wrong but heres...
2005 mustang gt.
I just put a set of LT's in with o/r pro chamber and im getting codes p0430 and p0420. Which is catalyst system efficiency below threshold. So I have set the o2 config to fronts...
90mm maf transfer for a steeda cai
2005 mustang gt
Cool thanks man, couple questions.
Im going to log my STFT's so how does my histo setup look? What do you think about making a custom PID for LTFT+STFT instead of just loggin against STFT only? Id...
Yes sir i found those instructions searching around, i would have never figured that out by myself lol. the car runs amazing with the deletes and the tuning ive done. i had the same setup with a...
heres my tune:
imrc deletes
cai
borderline knock table adjusted for 93 octane
cat, flange, and o2 temp control disabled
speed limiter increased
fan speed changed
throttle openeing rate...
yeah agree, i am going by the stft's. the sensor is only about 1 to 2 inches away from the factory because the pipe between the cat and manifold is only like 3" long. and the front o2 is on the...
It has factory exhaust for now, i put the sensor as far away from the exhaust manifold as i could, just before the cats. so its still real close to the manifold. it will be relocated soon when i put...
ok a little update, my stft's look good, they go from 0 to +3. but its constantly jumping back and forth. my afr is at 15.1, and the o2 b1 and b2 are constantly jumping from 120 to 830 roughly....
My stft's are about -7ish right now, negative indicates a lean condition? and is it normal for them to jump around alot?
That makes perfect sense, thanks!
I remember the pumps always had signs on them stating the 10% ethanol content, but i think they may have changed it. Im in MO, id have to go to a gas station and...
its a steeda, thats how ive been tuning it but i couldnt get it prefect and the afr was all over the place. But ive narrowed it down to having a huge exhaust leak at the manifold.
Now are you...
Does anyone have a maf transfer for a 90mm housing? Also will this formula work to figure the transfer? And how accurate will it be?
(MAF Table Value*Scalar for table)/255= Grams/Sec airflow
Thank you so much sir. Im just so new to the software i dont quite have it figured out yet. Ive read Greg Banish's book a couple time as long as hours upon hours of sitting in the car with the laptop...
Ok then. Whats the secret then? Stand alone data logging with an sct or something? All im asking is what pids are people monitering and what are they monitering against? Same as the chevy guys and...
Ok Ill try rewording it. What histograms should be used to properly scan and tune a 2005 mustang gt? Because none of the default histos work. I have MAF V so far.
Thanks.
