Is it better to use Lambda in this case?
Damn, I like working with smart people.

LS6, switched injectors to Fast 36lb, used table info found here. Stoich in editor set to 14.13. VE tuned nicely. Trying to tune MAF to STFT and watching scan commanded AFR is in the 13.x range. ...
I am setting my Stoich at 4.13 for E10. Do I need to create a custom commanded AFR? If so how?
Does anyone have the correct settings for the Fast 36 lb injectors? Are these #303608 the same as the Bosch 0280155868? Can the same settings be used?
Thanks guys, I got the error when I attempted to Cal and write entire at different times. Does the length or type of USB cable matter?
I am having the same problem. Did you ever resolve yours? What was the solution?
I have a c5 vette that goes crazy while attempting to write entire or write calibration frequently. The dash goes crazy with warning lights, the attempted upload says "unable to write to XXX" 20...
Are you doing a calibration only or a full write. Sometimes the full write gives it a clean slate and it picks up the changes.
Well said
Seems contrary to everything I have read here.
Ok guys, thanks for taking the time to explain. I have been using AFR for awhile and the results seems to change from week to week, tank to tank. I can easlily set my LC1 to lambda, where do I find...
Are you saying that Lamda is based on the reading of the 02 sensors and not an arbitrary stoich number?
Somebody explain the benefits of tuning in Lambda vs. AFR. They are just different representations of SAME THING. 1=lambda (stoich), 14.x = stoich
The deviations are percentaqes from either as a...
Speaking of stoich ---- I am using 93 octane with 10% ethanol. Should I be using a value of 14.13 in my WB and HP tuners? I have been using 14.68 - the stock stoich for a Z06 all this time.
Can't use Stoich?
Same question here. Anybody out there?
I see tuning recommendations for the VE table that use STFT or AFR. What is the difference and which is better?
Thanks guys
Do I add to the numbers (percentages) or subtract from the MAF table to make the mixture more rich?
Thanks
To Clarify...with all the tuning we can do on the street the effects of timing, as it relates to horsepower, must be done on the dyno. Agree?
Are you saying that a Dyno is ultimately needed to determine the power band and timing?
Maf is tuned against stft. Can I use same open loop MAF settings or should I go back to closed loop?
