In comparing an oem LT1 truck vs vette, the tb max areas are way different?? 4118 vs 4700
Yet the p/n 's for both vehicles are the same. both are 87mm tb's
anyone?
thx

Ya, 250 is a conservative number....lol
Anyhow, I had to finish this up, including tuning on the way to the airport.
Truck runs very well, especially after some trans tuning.
Never made it to the dyno, but compared to the oem...

Hey Ben...
If I am feeding this guy misinformation, please let US know
thx
you can just type 1.5 or 2 and say yes to warning message
max area is lower than 100% IF you want to limit tb opening, for example is you have no traction when you punch it down low...try 100%...

right now, I have a graph with rpm in the colums and pressure ratio in the rows. when I log, the user math dca fills the boxes with grams.
How do I interpretthis so as to tune vve or maf or...
so, I am going to read dynamic airflow in grams, but versus what in a graph? a bit confused...thx
I'm in maf disabled open loop, no lt or stft's, but I am logging maf hertz.
do I need to remove thatfrom my channels?
thx
no biggie, they look different and have different plugs....not affecting anything at the moment, in that I am tuning without any lt or st trims anyhow
thanks for your help
forget the vin, but it's a 2015silverado 5.3L. I get a code sometimes.....passenger side sensor 1 slow in responding from rich to lean....it's ok tho, when mix isn't in the 10's and it gets run...

what does a negative value (-1900) in trans slip rpm mean?
thx
rpm in minutes. 1 minute = 60 seconds= 60,000 milliseconds
is it because the connectors are different? or the numerous holes vs none or otherwise?
also, any idea what the rears are worth?
thx Ben
I have the rears removed, but the front right is causing minor problems from time to time (might just need some wot leaning combo), but if necessary, will the rears work in place of the fronts?
thx
My oem tables for spark timing, etc show values for airmass g/cyl, and the row values go up to 1.24

ok...just checking to be sure....
thx again
I understand most of this, what I am asking is whether I should be using the 14.1 that was oem on my vehicle and all the other oem tunes that I downloaded, or 14.7 ? which I assume is what Higgs...
you need to set the area of the tb to match YOUR CAR with the LT1
so, once you have the maf and tb settings from YOUR LT1, not the vette, try to see if you can get a few of those dtc's back to...
all the oem tunes that I downloaded had stoich at 14.1 Is that because of the gas alcohol content?
I'm in nth Florida...93 octane, but I believe 10% ethanol.....so 14.1 is good (stoich) and...
is this based on stoich being 14.1 ?
WOW...will 12,25-12.5 at wot be safe AND produce more power?
