I think I have one saved that?s from another member here, I?ll check laptop when I get a second.
There are some posted through out just gotta find them, biggest thing in comparison is the udp, those won?t show. There?s one posted in one of my threads that was believed to be an old H&S that I...
I get requests for this on evey vehicle that comes into the shop gm or not. I’m curious if it would be considered emissions tampering, although it shouldn’t be and that’s why we’ve not seen much...
It’s available on sct I know but don’t think so on 6.4
Just l5p duramax, usually several months after they were tuned, the pcm would take a shit.
Have you tried reading any of your sct tunes with HP and doing some comparisons? May have to manually enter the pcm type to get to read as they’re most likely locked but I was able to do this on a...
Fords oem diag tool/programming. If you have a j2534 interface you can program using fdrs/fjds software. We use a pass thru pro 3 for programming oem stuff.
Do a write entire instead of calibration
The 06 pcm was an oddball that isn't supported, it looks physically different. I don't remember which is in the vue, we converted our cobalt racecar to cavalier so we could get cable throttle,...
You can add timing as you wish, maybe three degrees be safe. Many times the PE table is excessively rich as well. Should be able to raise revlimit and also lower parameters that enable pe mode...
Prob junk egr, as far as the lean code, how’s your fuel pressure? I typically smoke test for vacuum leaks which are many times the root cause of lean codes. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a 3.4 but...
You should be able to tune those, finding power and Econ is dependent on the individual vehicle when done properly. Torque management and timing are a few places to start. To be accomplished properly...
171 code most likely an intake leak, they can be killed via hp but if you’re getting those codes stock the issue needs addressed properly before you start tuning. All stick everything needs to be...
yea 05-06 was only two years and model along with hhr, so wasn't much need for those to be supported. We convert them over to cavalier pcm for the circle track cars so we can remove fly by wire and...
It?s in one of the posts I made last year file should still be attached.
Have a truck came in on weight loss, trans tuning is bad. Customer wants to know if I can put trans file back to stock, does anyone have a good read I can try? Thanks
These were notorious for failed valve seats. Gm even issued a software update that wouldn?t flag misfires at idle to weasel out of warranting the heads on the 5 and 6 cylinder engines of the day....
There are some single files in the cruise control thread
Keep a bat charger on it while flashing, these are notorious for bricking while reprogramming FYI
I would load an oem tune via ids or fjds then tune with the live wire. If someone would post a stock file here you could open and make the necessary changes to make it stock then flash that file in...
You still on single pump? 60% and over requires twin pumps to keep up. The K16 is better than a CP3 but only marginally. I?m running a new single and starting to run out of fuel with 30 overs.
I used to have some ficm tunes saved but I couldn?t find them last summer, one of my sons friends bought a 6,0 I was going to load them on.
Yes do a read but select don?t read for pcm, I believe you get a standardized ficm file anyway from hpt. Then reflash after editing ficm. You could also un marry the sct first, do the ficm tune then...
You?re best bet is to datalog the actual pressure and duty cycle to determine if you?re losing pressure. Failed pumps many times take out injectors so be forewarned.
There are some files posted here just gotta look through a few, I?ve posted one that was unknown at time but now believed to be mini ma$$
