Thank you for sharing this with us!
Have you had to change anything pressure wise anything in the file to run the newer valve body?
I appreciate all the info you have shared with us on here.
Zero TCC slip is by far the fix for the 6l80e problems with converters.
I bought today a 02 allison to put in my 05 LLY. Need to know what valve body to find and what wiring needs to be done along with config files when you get time please.
I am really considering doing the 6 speed swap to my LLY. I posted in the other thread and had some questions for you. Thanks for sharing.
I am thinking about doing this for my LLY. I picked up an LB7 trans that i am going to build and was thinking might as well do the 6 speed swap. Is there a file to load into the stock TCM that...
How did this turn out for you?
I have been learning and playing with my LLY over the last few months. Are you towing heavy or anything in particular? Do you have any complaints with what you have? Could up the boost some more...
This tune looks pretty nice with some good gains. Could turn up the PW a little in the high mm3 areas if you wanted a little more easily and safely also.
Im a noob on the diesel stuff, but have been playing with my new to me LLY. If you are monitoring EGT's turn your fuel up a little more on the Main PW in the lower part of the 110-120us. Maybe up...
I might swap mine one of these days. I saved it. Thank you.
When I plug it in i get very different timing it calculates. Just want to make sure i do it correctly.
I am looking for some direction for which tables to copy and paste to the attached timing calculator. I am not sure what is supposed to be pasted into "current timing table". I am using the Main...
Im running a stock OS in my 08 denali with boost. You basically just need a sensor and program the offsets. 5FDP Hit it all spot on.
Is your fuel pressure dropping?

I was in the same boat. Bought the denali needing a trans. Got lucky. Dealership was gonna rape me for a 10 min job otherwise.
I actually read the ecm and tcm in my 08 denali with my original trans, and did a write entire with the new to me trans installed and it took it. Other options is to swap TCM/valve body on the 6l80e.
FWIW, I didn't have any of these problems with my LSA blower on my 07 Tahoe with a 5.3l Its an e38 also but 4l70e vs 6l80e and tq mgt work much differently on the 2.
It was and then I copy/pasted/smoothed some about 105kpa from a ZL1 and it didn't seem to change what it was doing.
I’m having a similar issue on my e38 08 denali. I am going mag only at 2500 rpm also. I am only noticing it 1st gear also. Leads me to tq mgt also but logging it it not saying it’s on. Curious...
My e38 in my 08 denali was having a similar issue right after I put the blower on around 6lbs of boost the timing would go to 0 and then come back and I would never move my foot. It was the fast tq...
Ive done it on my 07 Tahoe. Its not hard. You need a sensor, a pin from mouser, and some wire. Its the same as all the guys doing the l99/ls3 Camaros with the e38. FWIW the virtual was crap on my...
So what did you have to do other than what you said in your first post? For future help for others looking.
