The Spal fans have a shroud already(PCM of NC) and I've installed additional weatherstrip around the edges to seal it to the radiator. Is that the shroud you are talking about or something in front...
I have the two 1900 cfm fans coming on high by 180. Radiator is a large FSR aluminum unit and trans cooler is entirely separate. 2 bar OS is installed. Driving around yesterday when it was 106...
Here in Las Vegas, my 2006 TBSS struggles to keep cool on the ultra hot days(100+). At idle, the temp will very slowly creep up to 220+ if it sits long enough with the A/C on. I was hoping I could...
No, I did not touch the IVT terms. After a quick search, it looks like those are off. I'll correct those and give it another shot. Thank you!
I've been living with a hard cold start ever since I put the turbo on my Trailblazer SS about 18 months ago. At that point it went from the stock 1 bar OS to 2 bar speed density and 80 lb injectors....
I thought I had it figured out, but noticed a discrepancy this morning again. Attached is the log and a screenshot of the original peaks after the log showing a peak of 135 kpa. If you play it...
I think I got it figured out. If I log map sensor SAE, it works fine so long as I don't click yes to generic. When it is logging generic the values are off for some reason. This is on a E40 pcm.
I'm using VCM scanner 3.6.26 and have been seeing some strange peak readings in my map gauge. If I do a short WOT pull in to boost and look over at the laptop, I'll show a peak that could be 50kpa...
That did the trick. Thanks again!
Interesting. I can change the units in the primary table, but not the boost table which I'm guessing is locked in %. I'll bet that's it. I didn't consider the two tables could be in different...
My understanding is the factory MAP channel reads 2 bar no problem in the logs with the E40. When I originally had the 2 bar channel enabled it wasn't reading anything. I've seen the tunes with the...
I just completed putting a turbo, flex fuel sensor, 2 bar os, 2 bar map, and 80lb injectors in my 2006 TBSS. Drives fine at low throttle but as soon as I hit a little bit of boost (100-105 kpa),...
As you were alluding to... If I had to change both, I'd probably never get the rest of the gadgets to work as they should. Now I'm curious... What is the drop down selection for transmission type...
You are referring to the TCM OS right? How would one know which TCM would work or would it be more of trial and error? I appreciate your input.
I keep toying with the idea of putting a 4L80e in my CTS-V instead of the 6 speed manual. It has a E67 ECM and I would obviously need to add a TCM. Is the existing E67 capable of playing nice with a...
So how can we order them? I'd like a couple myself.
