Oh crap...that was a bug?
;D
I am important. Please expedite.
;D
You don't need to set PE to 100%. Copy high octane over the low octane and pull the MAF. Then tune your VE table based on your trims. Keep in mind that on V6s our resolution on the VE table sucks....
I am going to be getting my hands on a 2003 Malibu with a 3.1L. The same engine as the Pontiacs have right? Is it possible for HPTuners to be used on this car (with the proper license/VIN info of...
I have an update. It's not done yet.
Waaaaaaaaaah! :(
Would it be possible to give us control over EVAP operation? I think there may be some tables that determine proper EVAP operation vs. MAP, etc. that could be useful to those of us with cammed...
Compare your Idle Adaptive Spark Control Underspeed and Overspeed to later year models. Zero out everything over 300rpms. Your Underspeed table is probably screwed up, because I don't think HPTuners...
The HPTuners guys have been deathly silent, here and on the other forums. I hope this is a good sign that 2.0 will be out soon...
:cough: :cough: What's up guys? Even the main HPTuners page is getting old and moldy, with no updates since January.
:P
Goodness...it might not happen this year? Woaaaah....I hope not.
That's correct. Unless you have made major engine improvements I would only up it to 6400 rpms.
If they recover anything your harddrive is not dead. Best Buy is not equipped to recover data from a failed hard drive. There are special places that do it, but it costs a considerable amount of...
While I was running MAFless I noticed that my LTITs were stuck at -3 no matter what. Even after a PCM reset. After plugging my MAF back in they have updated. Is this an expected way for the PCM to...
This sucks. Anyways, now the trims are too rich. They are not as stable as before either. It is mostly about 6% rich, but I get weird spike where it wants more or less fuel. I don't know how reliable...
Aha. I was able to calculate my new MAF table tonight. Of course there is good news and bad news. I am running an SLP lid, and billet MAF ends, w/excess plastic removed from center support....
;D Nice answer!
Die thread! Die!
:banghead:
30 to 50 is what you should expect (low 40s is usually dead-on) at idle with your car completely warmed up.
I have far better luck changing the secondary and pasting to the primary. You are running off the secondary, so you might as well get your fueling right there first. Pasting to the primary is pretty...
Try scanning for Smoothing Spark timing.
Weird. I disconnected it for like 10-15 minutes, and even turned the key to clear any juice out of the system while the battery was disconnected.
Well wouldn't a PCM reset clear the LTITs? Why did mine stick at -3? Another 98 thing?
I had good luck with it. There may be some additional variables such as IAT that could mess with us I suppose. I think ported TBs with epoxied IAC ports may cause problems too. Getting the airflow...
Can't we just drop this conversation? I am sure it is just giving most of us headaches.
Woohoo! Martial law!!! You will respect my authoritaaay!!!
Just kidding.
