Sent you a pm, sir. Don’t see it attached any longer.
I fixed it. RAF was good, I had to adjust the proportional rpm and the airflows in the tables if anyone has this problem.
43675No matter the temperature, on startup the car will surge. After the initial surge bypassed by throttle and slowly lowering TPS to zero it will idle perfect. If you rev it, the surge begins...
if your gauge fuse in the cab is popped it won't start. Also if your ignition relay is bad it will crank but not start. Two quick and easy things to check.
I never thought of doing something like that. I'll give that a shot.
I did get my car to footbrake to 3500rpm though. I adjusted my proportioning valve and it made a world of difference. I can...
I'm trying to command a leaner afr while on the brake, but I don't want that same commanded afr while not on the transbrake. Like for 7lbs on the brake and 7lbs under load while driving on the...
Footbrake wise, my car doesn't build boost. I either need stronger brakes or a looser converter, it only goes to about 2000rpm before pushing the car.
On the tbrake for 2.1 seconds it builds 7lbs...
So I changed the map scaling to 305 and 6 offset and it runs. I need to find out the correct values for those 4 items.
Map sensor is 12223861 with the following wiring:
sensor ------------------------------------- PCM
A -- Low Reference ------------------------- B54
B -- MAP sensor signal ----------------------...
I finally got the car to be able to start and it will light off for half a second and immediately die. I double checked all the connections and wires and found nothing. My gauges appear to be working...
He thought that he did. Something must have happened. As far as the trans, that's no worries. I have a th400.
Unfortunately I'm not. I'm in Chesapeake, VA for a couple of years. Thanks for the offer though.
I bought this pcm from Lorenz. He wasn't sure if it would have the same tables as the fbody pcm. Do you happen to know Jamie? I just want to make sure before I get the vcm licenses.
I have my 98 camaro tune that I swapped a 2002 gmc sierra computer into it. I have my tune on the 98 computer very close, but wanted to be able to have more boost. So I repinned the harness to match...
i've tried messing with the cranking ve and it's not helping. Any other suggested tables?
No help, just a blanket statement, nice.
does it have a dpf still installed? If not, that's probably the problem
The IFR should be straight across the board for whatever fuel pressure you are running.
I've got cathedral port heads, I think the problem has more to do with the regulators.
That's what I was getting at. If you have an aftermarket return style system, the fuel pressure bleeds off rapidly. my system doesn't keep pressure on the initial prime, but the pressure is rock...
what are the fuel systems?
ifr is correct, change your offset to all match the 0 column. You definitely want to take a bunch out of your timing. 28* total timing is ridiculous. Might want to start around 13 or so or you'll...
Or you can make a thread to ask for help and not take the advice of others that posted. What's the point of the thread then? It takes maybe 2 mins to swap the ve back, change the stoich value, and...
Are you able to change your wb to e85? I'd change your stoich to whatever blend of e85 you have. Probably around 9.7 for stoich. Did you try backing down the throttle to actual 0%?
