Ever since I tuned my hhr the t/c light is on. I turned off a couple of codes and reduced tq management in both the trans and ecm. It doesn't shift as hard now that I turned off some of the codes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Post a copy of the tune so we can see what you changed as well as an exact description of what you changed. In the mean time, try loading back in your stock calibrations to see if that is an immediate fix. Very specific torque management tables are still necessary on certain vehicles to properly calculate what's going on, and shouldn't be disabled/adjusted. You have to identify which ones you can disable. Older V6 and 4 cylinder cars however, seem not to mind as much.
