Manual Trans; which tables are used???

There are tables for when the transmission is in Drive, and tables for when the transmission is in Park or Neutral. I'm fairly certain there is no signal from my transmission to tell the ECM either of these, and it is disabled in the tune anyhow. The two tables for any setting are always different, so logic would dictate the ECM would automatically use the Drive tables for a vehicle with a manual transmission. But without any indication in the tune file, I can't be 100 % certain. I have tried adjusting settings in both of these tables and not seeing a lot of difference. Can anyone confirm or point me in the right direction please?
