Well great...I was wondering why I kept getting the error light when trying to data log without my pc. So is this resolved now? I'm gonna have to agree that it's pretty shitty that your selling a product with feature that doesn't work.
Make sure to email support with an infolog so that we can email you once the software update is ready.
Our hardware designer finished up the firmware and we just need to do some alpha testing on it this week to make sure its stable enough for public use.
Thanks,
Bill
Pre defined inputs enabled in the newest beta, for anyone that wants the update check your customer page, if it shows 2.23 you already have access, if your customer page only shows 2.22 email support with your MPVI Pro serial number and we'll post the update to your customer page.
What's the build number for the newest Beta Bill?
tia
2.23.847ish
Got it thanks Bill! :)
"Pre defined inputs enabled in the newest beta,"
So Does this mean that situation b. is now working too? I am using an AEM wideband with the analog input. I "think" it was pre defined, as in an available option within the software, so will I be able to do stand alone logging with the ability to capture my AEM wideband with it?
b. analog inputs disabled in the beta software
Thanks for the update Bill.
Just to be clear... EIO *is* enabled in this beta in stand-alone logging and must be used with Pre-defined PIDs for external input logging; NOT user-defined, correct? I just want to make sure I understand exactly what you are saying.
Thanks again; sounds like you guys are getting us going in the right direction!
Correct, with that said I think you might be able to log input voltage which you could make a custom pid from temporarily.
That's where I was going with that!
Since that last post, I was wrapping up a car on the dyno. For grins, against my adjusted user-PID used for an AFX, I loaded the canned AFX PID. It was off a little less than two tenths (though close to that) around idle and the error actually decreased down around 11.0:1 AFR. It's been a long time since I have used that; I was pleasantly surprised to see it track as closely as it did.
Thanks for taking the time to clear this up.
New beta up with the aux inputs enabled as well now.
Can the new beta run custom pids on the stand-alone data logging, you said no, but does last post mean yes?
Will GM 3-bar map be added to the EIO options list, currently only have 1 and 2 bar as options, it would be nice to be able to just select 3-bar instead of having to create a custom setup.
