What ECU/Harness for 4.8L and 4L80e??

Hey everyone.

I have a 2010 4.8L L20 that I am going to be installing in front of a 2004 4L80e trans. I would like to eliminate the DBW and to do that I will need to run an ECU compatible with the cable throttle body but one that also came with a 4L80e trans. I was looking at the Lingenfelter 58x to 24x converter to handle the GenIV vs GenIII cam/crank signals. As of now I do not have much of a complete harness so will need to get one regardless.

Would I be best off getting a computer harness from a vehicle that came with a 4L80e and does not matter the engine size? I am AssUMeing that I can change the engine displacement size from within HPTuners, whereas the 4l80e has a different pinout and harness. I would prefer not to touch the trans side but do not mind changing things like the injector connectors. I ordered HP Tuners Friday so am just waiting anxiously for it to arrive.

Is this doable? Any idea which computer/harness I should be looking for or just any cable throttle vehicle with a 4L80e?
