MAF adaptation

Does anybody know what Airflow->General->MAF Adapation does when enabled vs. disabled? Description is "Enable/Disable fuel trim updates during enrichment or enlearnment".

The reason I ask is because I'm looking for a way to keep the car from adding fuel through trims when I'm using my 2-step. There isn't a way to selectively disable fuel trims at a certain RPM or at WOT that anybody knows of is there?

yes in the open/closed loop tab the closed loop gain tables. 0 them out where you don't want any closed loop.
