Stumble off idle and bad shifts LQ4/4L60E

Hello and thanks for taking the time to read.

82 S-10 with a stock 2004 LQ4 and 4L60E, 4.10 rear, 28" tire. When I go off idle and accelerate it feels like a misfire, but I'm not getting any codes? It does this for part throttle and WOT. I also have really hanging shifts. I ordered a shift kit but have not put it in yet, but I would think I should be able to get the shifts better than this when WOT. Any help is appreciated.
