looking for a little input on 2004 5.3 truck computer in a swap.

A buddy used a 2004 truck 5.3 computer with the motor and pedal assembly in a 69 Camaro swap he did. Is there any thing other that VATS that needs to be changed for it to start? Motor is completely stock other than headers and air intake. I thought the truck computers did not have VATS but after looking at a stock truck computer I guess they do. I have worked on a lot swaps using fbody computers but not too many truck computers or drive by wire.

What transmission?

Some other stuff will need to be changed if you arent running the 4L60e.

But it should still start and idle with the VATS turned off.

Yea I'm pretty sure it's a 4l60e. I have to delete out some of the codes that won't apply on the 69 camaro. But just mainly looking to get the car fired up and running tomorrow. I didn't think to ask him but hopefully he got the tach box from the truck too
