OutPuts not working?
OK SO I set up my VCM Scan to trigger the output when [PID.12] > 2000 - for testing the shiftlight (pid.12 is RPM). The disable trigger is [PID.12] < 2000
When I rev the motor the display indicator reads ON. But The light does not illuminate. I am sure its on the correct output. The ground was good for the light as well.
I tested with a volt meter and it read 0 when the laptop said it should be on. The 5 volt constant was readin 5.00 on the volt meter. ANy suggestions on why this would be going on?

What kind of light?
Enhanced IO specifications- Four high impedance, buffered, filtered, 10 bit 0-5v analog to digital conversion channels that can connect to almost any device.
Input impedance greater than 4meg ohm.
A/D inputs can tolerate short term over voltage without damage. - One 5v output 200 milliamp max (for powering external sensors).
Employs short circuit protection - One ground reference tie point.
- Two sink to ground 190 milliamp maximum each, continuous duty device drivers.
