why am I getting such bad signal from wideband

its the new innovate MTX-L wideband gauge with the controller built in.. I had fired my car up but shut off to make a change .. noticed my wb was at 11.8 with car off from rich cold start.. wanted to see if the calibration was correct because im getting some crappy wot tunes lately .. I know now the thing isn't calibrated correctly with hp tuners but why the ac wave on the wb input?? the car is off and the gauge is sitting at 11.8 no fluctuation.. I have the outputs at the correct refresh rate for the hp tuners setup.. nothing electrical is running that should be making noise and the hpt input is grounded at same place as wb guage... laptop is on battery and full charge no no ac adapter hooked up.. its just a strange repeating pattern...
