Ran into a problem at my shop today, I replaced a PCM on an 05 silverado and was hoping to program it myself instead of subletting it to another shop and it turns out hp can't program a vin into a blank PCM. Does anybody know if the standard j tool pass thru programmer from snap on or whoever is able to do that ( with the proper subscription ) of course $$$$$$. or does gm keep that proprietary
