Is the Scanner limited to active licenses as well?

Unlike our reading/writing/editing software, the scanner software is not limited to the licenses that you activate.

What this means is you can use the scanner software to scan your buddies car even if its a completely different make/model without using any of your credits, as long as its a GM OBD2 standardized vehicle. :)

With our new MPVI interface hardware, ford and dodge support is already built into the unit. Scanning Ford and Dodge vehicles will be a simple software upgrade at a later date.
