Any way to solder on some more ram? Maybe hack up a 99+ PCM, steal the ram and solder it on? I know, I know that I could just switch to a newer PCM, harness and cluster...............man, it makes my knuckles bleed just thinking about this.

probably...but thats alot of work for 1 year pcm...thats why moates didnt even do it.
You could upgrade to a 99 pcm and buy the 98 to 99 adapter harness from Speed INC?
I'm pretty sure they have some harnesses.
no. they dont have them anymore. they had problems.
Interesting, I wonder what the problems were.
Fuel level gauge wouldn't work.. I think the EVAP system may have a couple of differences as well..
I run a 02 engine harness and PCM in my 97 wired race car chassis (almost identical to 98)..
i dont know. i read some threads on tech about people calling up speed and they said they dont sale them anymore.
poor 98's why are we cursed with the special pcm.
Well you could try speartech and see if they make some.
can the 1 Bar Maf enhanced work for Turbo applications with a blow through maf setup with less then 14.7 PSI? Or will I need to get the 1 Bar SD and just use the MAF anyway?
Also I was making changes in the VE table and the AFR keeps going up or down accordingly and then goes right back where it was before I made the change. What do I need to do to combat this so that I can find the best values in the cells for the AFR I am striving to achieve?
Thanks in advance,
