2016 Camaro LT1 with P1SC - Commanded WOT PE changes to 1.0 eq

I tuned this car when it had headers only and didn't have this issue. Guy put a P1SC ProCharger on (stock cam, stock everything except headers) and since I've stopped dyno tuning for people he went to another tuner. The tuner wires up a second MAP sensor that is the stock one and is zip tied to the MAF harness...and its sitting in open air. For the primary he connected a ZR1 3bar MAP. First, I see his MAP values aren't correct but the issue I'm seeing is in MAF only mode.

On this tune, when the car hits around 5200rpm the target EQ changes from 0.833 lambda (11.75afr) to 1.0 lambda (14.1AFR). MAP shows around 138kpa at this point, lowish timing 14.5deg, TPS stays at WOT. What would cause the ecu to pick a table other than target PE in this case?

1) Why the 2nd stock MAP sensor? I didn't trace the wiring here but curious why this was done.
2) What would cause the ECU to pick a table other than target PE in this case? What is causing the 1.0 lambda target?

See if it's the knock enrichment tables under fuel > power enrichment.

It is enabled, but the table only goes to 4000 rpm. Also, I found an instance in the log where KR was not present and it still commanded 1.00 lambda when it should have been in PE.

I was wondering about that. I thought keeping the table stock would be best since it is an auto trans A8 with stock MAF and in MAF only mode, stock cam, stock intake, etc. I try not to mess with those unless I have to.

Check your FUEL > POWER ENRICHMENT > ENABLE TORQUE table. If your Tq model is off as Ben suggested it might be falling below the required % to activate PE(or keep activated). A band-aid would be to lower this whole table to 50-60%. You can even lower it to real low number up top to see if that is actually the problem. If so, Torque Model needs changing.

Thank you. Completely makes sense now. Adding the ProCharger caused me to lower the timing so now the Torque Model is working in a different row at this and higher engine torque. I'll work on the Torque Model now. THANKS!!

Old post.. but adding the Peak Torque table info in case someone else has issues that it may fix.

Peak Torque tables too high of a value can also cause the car to not go into PE mode, or exit. Log the PE on/off flag, and be sure your peak torque is not set too far above actual.
