411 swap help
I swapped a 411 into my 97 gmc 7.4 vortec. Downloaded the stock 02 express into it but it wont stay running long enough to scan anything? I checked and rechecked all my pins. Everything checks out and i read a ton before i started in attempts i wouldnt be in this spot....lol. Any help would be much appreciated

Can you post your tune? Stock engine otherwise?
-
I believe there are some 7.4 files in the tune repository also
-
I'm having trouble getting it to post here?
-
I got the 7.4 out of the repository w 4.56 gears and bigger injectors. Adjusted gears and back to stock injectors. It wont stay running.
-
It shakes pretty hard and sounds terrible
-
You can start scanning before you crank the engine. Maybe try that so we can get an idea of whats going on. Where did you get the stock injector data? You changed everything, and not just the IFR table? It'd be easier if you just uploaded your tune.

It ran good before the swap. I keep checking my wiring but it looks good? I want the 411 bc i dont have cats and i want to get headers and a cam. And i like the whole tuning thing but if i cant get it running by monday im gonna try to swap back to the black box? That will suck.Im hoping its tune related and get this thing running??

Don't give up yet, we'll figure this out. Does anyone know if running the 12202088 OS instead of 12212156 OS could cause problems?
Try upping your target idle to 800 or 900 just to get it running. Can you get the truck warmer? I see that its pretty cold, that probably isn't help, at least my cold start gives me issues so yours probably isn't any better.
Maybe remove all the adaptive idle stuff for now, I see the spark is all over the place in your log, it would be better to be off by 100 rpm than constantly hunting up and down.
-
Its a little warmer today. Ill make the changes and log the scan. Do you think its okay to keep starting it like that? It feels like its going to break something. It wobbles my whole truck. I can keep it kinda smooth under 1000 rpm but when i get over 1k it gets bad and shakes. I just got the truck so i dont know what the previous owner has done besides a solid axle swap and custom lift. They deleted the ac also

Sounds like project. It would be nice if you had a wideband o2 to see the exact afr. Without hearing it, I can't say it it'll hurt anything.
I wish someone would chime in about the operating system. I'm wondering if that is causing issues. Problem is to switch the os you'll have to use a different tune and relicense it. But it might be worth a shot..

here is what I adjusted and my log. it still is really bad! I checked my pins again and thought I found one on c2 that was missing but it was only for a 4l60....do you think it is the os?
-
I'm not at my laptop right now. I'll look later. Maybe also try setting the dynamic airflow disable to like 600 so it tries using the maf.
I don't know.. it really could be but I don't remember for sure if that can make a difference. If you don't mind burning 2 credits, I would try it.
-
is it bc of the crank 24x vs the 4x or is the 12202088 4x also? that seems to be the only info I can find on the difference of the 2? ill do it but I would like to know why before I spend the $100, u know?

Awesome man!! Glad to hear it! I would start with the VE then MAF, you know how to disable maf to tune the VE? After those two its just spark and transmission really.
Wait to tune your WOT areas until you have a wideband.
My tune isn't perfect, I have some cold start issues, but it'll at least give you something to look at.Attachment 76576
