*sigh* VCM Read error
So I bought a 2007 Solstice, knew it was tuned, didn't realize I couldn't read the VCM if it was a handheld tuner or something to that effect. I do not have the handheld tuner, I thought the car was a GMPP tune, so I thought I would not have any issues.
It seems I need to have a Tech II reflash or someone with a dealer/unlimited license to write a tune for my VIN? Is that so? :banghead:
Anyone with unlimited licenses able and willing to write me a stock file with my VIN (if this is what I need to do)? If not, I can find a dealer with a Tech II, would just rather not have to pay for it, and would like to try to get some tuning done this weekend.
Thanks for any help in the mean time!

If the PCM is locked, pretty sure only a dealership will be able to flash a stock calibration back into the PCM to reset everything.
-
If the controller is locked, not even a dealer can reprogram it.

Tech II could though, right? Just a write entire?

A controller that is locked cannot be read or written to unless you have the key.

dont you have the key to everything? ;)
