2002 Yukon my wifes daily driver nothing real special on the tune no knock seen on log. Instead of me taking two hours of my time and replacing it do you think it will be ok to turn the mil off for the code. We always run 93 in the tank.

In my opinion, not at all.
You never know when you can get a bad tank of gas or something else goes wrong.
You can get that done in about 15-20 minutes :D
