So I was wondering best way to do this I'm gonna be running 20 psi but I'm on 93 octane I wanna tune on the 93 octane and then when I get done cleaning my VE table spray the meth and pull the fuel out of my boost enrichment table bc I don't wanna bake the meth into my VE table but how do I ensure I keep it safe until I'm done tuning I've never ran this much boost on just 93 and its my first time spraying any kind of meth injection. This will be 100% m1 meth I'm spraying
Depends on the system, the nozzle size, etc.
What's the engine combo? What meth system and nozzle/s? What OS? So many hypotheticals.
Just and FYI from experience, it's more accurate to pull the fuel out of your VE than your PE. You can accurately blend it over RPM and MAP versus just every 400 RPM across the board.
If flex fuel is an option.. that would be a lot safer road to go down.
Flex fuel in Gen 3's isn't so easy.
Else I agree with Ed. Take it out of the VE table.
It's a stock block 4.8 I have a alkycontrol kit dual m15 nozzles the truck runs on a p59 ecm 2 bar ios which that's all it has no 3 bar capable. Flex fuel is not a option bc we don't have it around here.
I wouldn't be running 20 psi on a 2 bar OS. Doesn't make sense.
How would you advise me to fix that problem bc the 2 bar will run up to between 15 to 16 psi and we are talking about 4 pounds more it will ride the bottom row its almost as good to do that then write a 3 bar os with a resolution that jumps in 20 kpa increments. I could change ecms but didn't wanna go through that over 4 lbs of boost
I would run the appropriate VE table. You can't possibly make the AFR correct from 15 to 20 psi on the same row or column. Doesn't work that way. You'll have to goober something up to make it work. It would be different if you were only over boosting a little bit, like 1 lbs. not 4 or 5.
This is one of the drawbacks of using a P59.
Is this a 99-03 4.8?
If so, this thing isnt going to last on 20psi.
Also have you thought about going with a Holley ECU? Makes this whole mess very very easy to do.
I setup turbo trucks with W/M controlled through the holley and just program it up to progressively spray 5-12% of total fuel flow as RPM-Boost increase
If you are willing to switch to a 12587603 OS, you could have a 2 or 4bar VE, a boost spark adder table, pwm boost control for a MAC valve, spark cut rev limit and launch control, and a few other things with the P59. Pretty sure the flex fuel can be enabled with that setup as well.

No is a 2006 silverado and it's lived over a year on 15psi on a 2 bar map I've been thinking about doing a holley integration harness just haven't went that way yet
