cant figure this thing out. Ls2 @006 GTO with a magnuson TVS2300.
I got myself started with a stock tune file and upgraded the OS two run 2 bars. I am running a NW102 tb and I modified the ETC Scaler to suite it. The car wont start. It fires up but when it tries to idle it just dies. I have tried playing around with the Idle Airflow, Cranking fuel, Start up VE. nothing.... no change

Did you get a 2 bar MAP sensor for the TVS ? Cam?
How about, did you put in the new injector info?
Checked the tune. Have you tried messing with the min airflow any? Looks like you need to add at least 4 up through 1000 rpms then interpolate from there up to 2000 rpms... Idle air appears to be way too low for a blower and 102 tb. I also like to use a bigger number for the etc scaler for the nw's, but I guess that's me. I like using 7900 for them... Then if you have a cam, you might need even more in the min idle air table.
Will it stay running if you hold the pedal down or just fire and cut off no matter what you do?
yes. I have the injector info right. I have tried raising the idle airflow and airflow min. Nothing.Quote:

Appears engine dies long before the injectors shut off. Don't believe injectors are your problem. O2's aren't working at all, no stft compensations but it may not be running long enough for them to kick in. I would focus on air flow especially since it sounds like it's choking itself off? I assume the air fuel in the datalog isn't hooked up? Appears to stay on 12.38 all of the time? What's the air fuel with throttle held? It can be something as simple as not enough air or 5% off in fueling depending on the motor... I'de add 4 to 5 to your min airflow table and start there...
Ghuggins is right. That min airflow isn't even in the ballpark. Double the whole table and see if you get any better results. If that still doesn't make it stay running, add another 50%.
I just compared yours to a few other files of cars with superchargers and they're all double yours or a little more than that even...
Well i have increased the idle airflow and minimim tables but not 4 whole points. The car is in open loop with both athe stfts and ltfts off that's why they dont show in the data log. I will try raising them that much then post a log if it doesnt work. To me it seemed That the injectors would come on then shut right off
I am using the stock GM map sensor. The car wont run even if I give it gas because the injectors immediately shut right off.
The motor is stock. Stock Cam Stock heads. I am running a nick williams 102mm throttlebody with a LC32 102mm inlet.
Here is a screen pic of my base running airflow and startup airflow tables. When I did 2 bar, my car would not start with the stock MAP sensor. I had to get a 2 bar sensor from the GM dealer. You have to trim off part of the sensor for it to go in the TVS housing---tight space. You are gonna cuss.
For a one bar map you need to set it back to stock in the file. Plus set your D-Airflow back up. You will have to click on the thumbnails a few times to see the full view.
Didn't realize you hadn't changed the map out. Any time you change to a 2bar OS upgrade it automatically changes the map parameters to a 2 bar map unless it's all ready got 2 bar map info in it... Change the map calibration voltages back to stock and see how it does - there should be 4 that need to be changed back unless it only changed 2 or them. Would still recommend increasing the min airflow at least 4 then you can take back out from there if need be...
lakegoat I seem to have run into a problem with the idle start up airflow table...
for some reason the maximum value I can input is capped at 8.5 g/cyl while your table allows for a maximum of 64 g/cyl I have pretty much maxed out my table it wont let me go higher... why?
Pabs1, I just rechecked your tune and both the tables max at 64g/s when I open it? Make sure your editor is up to date and your setup as advanced and looking at g/s and not lb/hr.

You can change the units with out updating. Open the table,Left click in the top left corner see screen shot. Make sure that you use the same G/SEC when logging in the main table. Just to add 8.5 lb/min Imperial is the same as 64.0 g/sec Metric max values.

no luck guys.
same thing on the data log. timing goes negative then the injector duty cycle takes a nap.
would anyone be willing to post up their ls9 injector data. I want to make sure that thats not whats causing this to happen.
Go to the tune repository and type in LS9 injectors. A 2009 G8 comes up with LS9 injectors or check some of the CTS v's
All right... No Guarantees... As my understanding is (if I can remember) 0vac = 400 kpa / 80vac = 480 kpa //// I did some math and came up with the following flow rate table for you... Only thing I didn't get was the offset table... You can work that one if your able. Again no guarantees on the numbers.
