Power Folding Mirror Upgrade

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here. I did search the forums and tried to read other areas online regarding the ability to enable BCM functions such as the power folding mirror upgrade. I found some junkyard power folding mirrors, got the power door modules and the new driver side switch module. But from my understanding, none of that matters without programming the vehicle to enable the power folding functions.

I own a 2015 Ram 1500 and pulled these parts off a 2017 Ram 1500.

Is HPtuners able to do this? I'm getting ready to buy my MPVI2+ and unlocked PCM.

We can't do anything BCM related like that.

Alfaobd can do that, but remember you need the right door modules to use this feature...

Yup alfa can do it if you know which configurations to change. Also you need an OBD interface like obdlink MX+ as the HP tuners interface does not work with alfa OBD.
