Trying to get my head around the driver demand torque adjustments..
Looking to install a bigger throttle body and don't want to get the Wrench light showing..
Any ideas for a trial and error? I know the SCT guys have a base map they can just flash onto the ECU.

Driver demand is not what you would adjust to prevent the wrench light. The torque and torque inverse tables need to be accurate for the power the car is making, and the Effective Throttle Area, and Predicted Throttle Angle tables are what model the actual TB .
Eric's spot on, as usual. I'll add that the torque & inverse torque tables must be correct, with respect to each other as well. Just as the names imply, these tables are inverses of each other. All to many times, I come across hacked torque tables where the tooner has just increased the top row or two of the torque table but then left the inverse torque table untouched. They are inversely related.....touch one, you must touch the other.
At some point in time, VCM Suite will handle the inverse tables automagically. It's on the list.Quote:
