double stoich and halve IFR and halve IVT terms
half by .5?
yes IVT terms should be like 7.92 standard multiply by .5
It was 3.96 stock is that right
3.96 means it was already cut in half.
Yea but it?s not ajusting the afr accordingly I have 26% of e85 but it?s sitting at 14.3 in gear at idle with the ivt term at 3.96
Yeah, the wideband will always read 14.0-15.0 if you are running E85 and using the gas scale read out on the wideband.
You either just need to realize/remember that the wideband will still read fueling as if it was running regular fuel or switch to Lambda tuning.
1.00 Lambda will read 1.00 no matter the fuel. Then leaner is above 1.00 and richer is below 1.00.
the IVT terms is just so that the IVT temp reading is back to correct as many tables use it especially when cold starting and transients, its not an actual fuel correction value, as mentioned best to use Lambda if ur running flex and scaled, also some flex ecu have a varying IVT terms value u may need to find that and add in then halve so it works good for ethanol as well
Okay thanks so even at 25% of e85 it will still read 1.00 lambda?
Okay thanks do you know where I could
Find that? Cheers
Yes, Lambda will always read 1.00 for stoich no matter what percentage on alcohol is in the fuel.
Okay thanks
i think some LSA tune files have the varying IVT terms for ethanol
Cheers mate
I used 2017 vf lsa ivt terms then halfed them is that correct ?
should be fine
