Ford Explorer 4.6l 3V 2006 VCT tune
Hello. I am looking at VCT tables :
Attachment 130245
Attachment 130246
Attachment 130247
There are a lot of cam retards at low RPM and low loads. I know that behavior is due to lack of EGR. Spark advances in these areas are also noticeable. I was thinking about setting 0 angle of retard to 4000 RPM and next adjust spark advance in that area. I know that without "EGR" I will not be able to advance as much as before.
What do you think about that? I think it should increase throttle response.
Has someone tested that setting before?
Best regards.
